UNCHARTED: Tom Holland & Mark Wahlberg are Ready for Adventure on New Key Art for the Video Game Adaptation

Summer is going to start early next year with the release of Sony’s Uncharted which stars Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg. The film is due to hit theaters exclusively on February 18th and a new poster has just dropped which features both stars ready for action!

The movie’s been in development for so long that at one time star Mark Wahlberg was supposed to play the role of young adventurer Nathan Drake. Spider-Man’s Tom Holland now occupies the role with Wahlberg now playing the grizzled mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan.

The trailer that hit a while back is packed with epic sized action and a get dose of the chemistry between the two leads. View the new footage below which promises grand action on an epic scope with some fan service for the video game aficionados.

Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.

Starring along with Wahlberg and Holland are Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali, and Tati Gabrielle. Ruben Fleischer, who is the seventh director attached to the project, helms the movie which at one time was rumored to Star Chris Pratt and Nathan Fillion in the lead role as well.

Various setbacks including the pandemic have derailed the film but its now on track for a February 18, 2022 launch date in Theaters.
