Action and martial arts heavyweight star Michael Jai White is back big time in the new action-thriller The Commando and this time he’s got some serious competition in Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler, The Expendables) who is hell bent on getting his money back. The siege is set and the showdown is on this new year!

The film will see a Digital and VOD launch this January and Action-Flix has got you covered with official key art and an action drenched trailer featuring both stars throwing down. The Commando is helmed by Asif Akbar from a script written by Koji Steven Sakai. In this edge-of-your-seat crime thriller, an elite DEA agent (White) returns home after a failed mission when his family makes an unexpected discovery in their house – a stash of money worth $3 million,” reads the official synopsis. “They soon face the danger and threat of a newly released criminal (Rourke) and his crew who will do whatever it takes to retrieve the money – including kidnap the agent’s daughters. Stakes are high and lives are at risk in this head-to-head battle as the agent stops at nothing to protect his family against the money-hungry criminals.
