Hey all you action aficionados out there! Happy Holidays and to celebrate Eoin Friel over at The Action Elite is back with a brand new episode of TAE: The War Room! I’m still on injured reserve but Eoin and J-Man take the reigns for a versus trip down memory lane with Golan & Globus!

For serious action freaks out there, we all know that in the 80’s, Cannon Films did their own Raiders thing with King Solomon’s Mines and Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold. Based on the novel, producers Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus threw their adventure film fedoras into the ring with a cast that included Richard Chamberlain and a then unknown Sharon Stone.

These films, like so many in Cannon’s film arsenal, are just as interesting, if not more, behind the scenes as they are on screen and Eoin and J-Man delve into these goodies that certainly bring back the throwback. Just like always, Eoin and J-Man go off on tangents like always do which includes how the James Bond franchise really pissed them off. Check it out below!
