Alan Ritchson is REACHER in New Key Art for Amazon’s New Action Series Based on the Best Selling Novels (Update: The Trailer Hits!)

Update: Amazon has launched the new trailer for Reacher!

It was well documented that the author of the Jack Reacher novels, Lee Child, as not a fan of Tom Cruise playing the role of his popular character. Child stressed that Cruise didn’t have the size or look that went with his description of the military police investigator. The films with Cruise made hundreds of millions but Lee wanted something better.

Well, Lee has gotten his wish in Titans Star Alan Ritchson who is starring in Amazon Prime’s newest adaptation of the novels titled simply enough Reacher. Ritchson is definitely the dominating looking figure that is described in Lee’s books so it’s shaping up to be another hit series for the streaming service. We have new key art for you that was just unveiled that shows Ritchson in full Jack Reacher mode.

The biggest name in action hits Amazon Prime Video on February 4. Watch the trailer for REACHER starring Alan Ritchson.

Bruce McGill (Rizzoli & Isles), Maria Sten (Swamp Thing) and Hugh Thompson (Chapelwaite) also star in the series along with Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald and Smallville’s Kristen Kreuk.

It has been documented that the first season will adapt the 1997 Jack Reacher novel The Killing Floor. This will center around an origin story for Jack Reacher. While accused of a homicide, Reacher discovers a vast conspiracy and will have to use his particular set of skills to prove his innocence and uncover the truth behind what is really going on. The freshman run will consist of eight episodes and should make a great double feature with Amazon’s other hit show Jack Ryan.

Reacher will premiere exclusively on Amazon on February 4th!
