Jason Statham is the man and with Sly passing the torch to him for the Expendables franchise, the action star has been all over social media giving fans a taste of the BTS action as filming continues in Bulgaria.
The Stath shared a new video on Instagram highlighting him filming for the fourth film which is said to be a spin-off of sorts where Lee Christmas takes over the merry band of mercs.
As you can see from the video embedded above, Statham’s Lee Christmas is all about the assault vehicles as we see him on motorcycles and ATVs. It’s also kick ass to see Christmas rocking a 50 cal. on top of an assault vehicle like he did at the beginning of the second Expendables movie.
Stallone is back with Jason Statham, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren as the original cast. Other new additions include Megan Fox, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Andy Garcia. International action stars Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais also have roles with the latter playing the main villain.
Stunt pro Scott Waugh takes over in the director’s chair and he helms from a script penned by Spenser Cohen with current revisions turned in by Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly.
