Stallone Teases a Jason Statham Epic Bar Room Brawl on the Set of THE EXPENDABLES!

By: John M Jerva

Sylvester Stallone is at it again as he has shared a new video on Instagram. On the set of the new Expendables film, Sly walks us through a scene where Jason Statham’s Lee Christmas is about to get into one massive brawl. Stallone goes over the scene and chats about how he prefers a good old fashioned brawl over a martial arts fight. Check it out below!

As you can see, Stallone wants the fight to look and feel real just like blunt force trauma but I’m sure that there will be some Statham signature action as well. Just one question, why does The Stath need a stand in for the fight? Hopefully it’s just for some safety reasons.

Plot points still remain locked up at this time but we do know that Stallone is back with Jason Statham, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren as the original cast. New additions include Megan Fox, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Andy Garcia and Tony Jaa who up to this point has been the only real action star addition to get fans excited about. Jaa’s role along with the other additions is also unknown so we wait and wait for more 411.

Jaa also posted on social media that he’s about to join the cast as you can see his high flying kick below!

Stunt pro Scott Waugh takes over in the director’s chair and he helms from a script penned by Spenser Cohen with current revisions turned in by Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly.

Keep it locked and loaded right here for more details to come as the next Expendables film is officially filming!
