ACCIDENT MAN 2 with Scott Adkins to be Helmed by George & Harry Kirby

By: John M Jerva

We all know that the initial Accident Man movie with Scott Adkins is one of the best of the Adkins/Jesse V. Johnson collaborations but it looks like they’ll be a passing of the torch for the sequel. It appears that the follow up will be helmed by George and Harry Kirby whom the latter announced on Facebook that they’ll be directing the anticipated sequel.

“I can finally announce the incredibly exciting news that George and I are directing our first full feature film!

Accident Man 2 will star the legendary Scott Adkins, who we want to say a huge thank you to, for giving us this amazing opportunity and will be shot entirely in Malta in November.

Sony Entertainment and Six Demon Films are producing the film and again we are really excited to be working with both.

We both feel very lucky to be in this position and want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped us to get to this point! This is literally a dream come true!

Big thanks to Shaolin Jaa for the sweet animated poster,” stated Harry Kirby in the post.

To go along with the directing announcement, a sweet teaser poster that shows off Adkins in full on ANIME mode has been circulating the net. Courtesy of Shaolin Jaa, you can see the artwork below!

The first Accident Man was a passion project for Adkins and it’s based on an underground UK comic that he grew up reading. Helmed by Johnson, the film also starred a great action cast including Michael Jai White, Ray Park, Amy Johnston and Ray Stephenson.

It’ll be interesting to see what the Kirby brothers bring to the next entry as this is their first full on feature film. It’s good to see the sequel getting some traction as it’s been in development for a while.

Keep it locked and loaded right here for more to hit from Accident Man 2 as we are your destination for everything!

Adkins will next be seen in the one take military action thriller One Shot which hits this November.

In the meantime, check out Adkins in action from the original movie!
