Well it looks like fans are going to be disappointed once again as Sony Pictures’ Venom Let There Be Carnage has received a PG-13 rating. After the original hit the Dane treatment, fandom was hoping for a more adult sequel especially with the inclusion of Carnage played by Woody Harrelson.
No such luck again as the follow up is PG-13 for “for intense sequences of violence and action, some strong language, disturbing material, and suggestive references.”
Helmed by Andy Serkis from a screenplay penned by Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy stars once again as Eddie Brock/Venom along with Woody Harrelson who is playing thr gan favorite Cletus Kasady AKA Carnage. Michelle Williams is back from the first movie as Eddie’s ex-fiancee and district attorney Anne Weying while other new additions include Naomie Harris and Reid Scott.
Rumors were circulating last week that the sequel would be delayed yet again to next year but the new one sheet still has the October 15th launch date on it so for now, that’s the case.
