We’ve seen this plot before, haven’t we? Terrorists hijack a plane and Jen must contest with someone onboard who takes them on tooth and nail. It’s a common theme in the realm of action cinema history.
Netflix is taking that premise and factoring in a wild card with some serious bite for its upcoming horror-thriller Blood Red Sky. Take a look at the new trailer below!
A woman with a mysterious illness is forced into action when a group of terrorists attempt to hijack a transatlantic overnight flight. In order to protect her son she will have to reveal a dark secret, and unleash the vampire within that she fought to hide for so long
Oh yeah, you saw that right. A vampire is on board and she breaks out all kinds of carnage in order to save her son and others from the terrorist threat. I’m intrigued and it features Dominic Purcell who happens to be one of my favorites.
The film was helmed by Peter Thorwarth and it stars Peri Baumeister as Nadja, Kais Setti, Alexander Scheer, Dominic Purcell, Graham McTavish, Roland Møller, and Chidi Ajufo.
This one looks downright interesting so be sure to check it out when it hits the streaming service on July 23rd.
