I’m always on the lookout for some fresh indie action cinema goodness and here’s a new film that literally dropped in my email box this weekend. The film is awesomely titled War Path and it hails from writer/director Casey de Fremery. The movie sees star Gary Noheallii as a contract killer who must go on the run when a botched assignment puts him and his wife in the crosshairs of law enforcement and the very people he works for.
The movie just recently premiered on streaming services so check out the key art and trailer below!
A contract killer goes on the run after a botched job that involves the murder of a police officer. Pursued by criminals and the law, he must come to grips with the past while trying to save his wife’s life.
War Path also stars Liz Clare, Erik Jorn Sundquist, Carl Joseph Schreiber and Kelly Lou Dennis.
Now available for rent or purchase courtesy of High Octane Pictures, the trailer below does its job selling the intensity and action with Nohealii selling it in the action star category. Definitely looks like a good watch for a Saturday night so feel free to check it out as I will be with the movie looking like it’s in my wheelhouse for gritty, fine and dirty action.
Great characters, full of nonstop action!
