With a new release date of July 9th firmly in place, Marvel Studios has unveiled a new trailer for Black Widow which stars MCU regular Scarlett Johansson. The film is set to hit cinemas and Disney+ day and date so check out the new footage below and Scar Jo in action as the world’s deadliest Avenger and assassin!

Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. With the character having met her demise in Avengers: Endgame, the plot for the film is set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War.

The cast surrounding Johansson is a top tier one and it includes David Harbour (Stranger Things, Hellboy) as Alexei who is also known as The Red Guardian, Florence Pugh (Fighting with My Family, Midsommar) as Yelena Belova, Oscar winning actress Rachel Weisz (The Favourite, My Cousin Rachel) as Melina, Ray Winstone (The Departed) as Dreykov who is the leader of The Red Rom, and O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale) as Mason.

Black Widow also has the distinction of being the first feature film in Phase IV although the Disney+ series WANDAVISION and Falcon and the Winter Soldier initially started the next phase.

July 9th is the date as Black Widow finally hits the masses.
