The age of heroes has returned. For those of you that are still not convinced that the upcoming Zack Snyder’s Justice League won’t be completely different then the 2017 joke we got when Joss Whedon butchered the film when director Zack Snyder stepped down due to a family tragedy, then I give you the newest trailer that Snyder has just released and on Valentine’s Day no less. Nothing says romance then DC’s ultimate 4 hour superhero team up where iconic figures like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash unite to stop the greatest of threats imaginable. Fans will finally get to see the movie that they fought so hard to make a reality on March 18th when it premieres exclusively on HBO Max. Check out the epic footage below!
I don’t know about any of you but Snyder is definitely one of the best filmmakers around when it comes to visuals and storytelling and I enjoy the hell out his movies. He had me at the Batman war machine. From a better version of Jared Leto’s Joker to seeing more of Joe Manganiello as Deathstroke, this definitive version really looks worth the price of admission.
Many have been critical of this version but I feel that this will be the Justice League movie that we should have gotten four years ago and even though there are no plans to continue the franchise under Snyder, maybe if it is successful enough, we will get parts two and three and Snyder will be able to finish his true vision for the fans. After all, like the saying goes…”money talks.”
There are rumblings that Warner Bros and HBOMAX are going to put the DCEU on full display with films and TV series and and hopefully the ship has been steered in the right direction and we will get many years of theatrical snd streaming releases to enjoy. This film is the stepping stone to all that.
Only time will tell but one thing is for certain and that is we are going to finally see the definitive version of DC’s mightiest heroes on the screen come March 18th on HBOMAX and it’ll be a truly epic experience to say the least. Good news is even though it’s 4 hours, you’ll be able to pause for potty breaks. Watch the epic trailer below! Happy Love Day everyone! Now go enjoy the comic book carnage…
