By: John M Jerva

Are you in need of a Donnie Yen fix? Well we here at Action-Flix have you civered as we have the brand new trailer for Yen’s latest cop thriller Raging Fire which was directed by the late, great Benny Chan. Yen’s character of hardened police detective Shan squares off against Nicholas Tse’s Ngo who was once a protege of Yen’s character and now the two are headed on a collision course of fisticuffs and firepower. Check out the new footage below courtesy of The Arty Dans over at Asian Film Fans!

Official Synopsis: “Shan, a righteous cop who is admired by the police force to have solved many cases. One day, his past comes back to haunt him when his sting operation is attacked by a mysterious group of criminals led by Ngo (Nicholas Tse), his former protégé. Ngo was once a talented cop who admired and respected Shan. However, a terrible accident sent him to prison three years ago turning him into a furious man with the aim to kill everyone who wronged him – including his former mentor!”

Yen has retired from making traditional martial arts films and he is now focusing on more mainstream actioners like this one. No worries though as it looks like Donnie will be brandishing his lethal fighting skills to go along with the heavy weaponry so action fans will surely get their fill with this one and it hopefully will give director Benny Chan a nice sendoff as he sadly passed away earlier this year.

Release date info is currently pending for this one but it is expected to hit in 2021 so you can bet I’ll share as soon as it hits so keep it locked and loaded right here for more Donnie Yen 411! Watch the bullet riddled teaswe below!
