Here’s some great news for fans of action television as CBS has officially green lit the fourth seasons for SEAL TEAM and SWAT!
The two shows premiered at the same time four years back and have only gotten better with age like a fine wine. They are clearly two of the best action series on TV right now.
Both shows were unfortunately cut short by a few episodes due to the shutdown after the pandemic broke out but they will surely give fans the last few episodes that were supposed to happen. Only time will tell, however, when production will amp up once again for these shows, others and films. Let’s hope it’s soon.

In SEAL Team, David Boreanaz stars and it follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan, and execute the most dangerous, high stakes missions our country can ask of them.
SWAT stars former Criminal Minds alum Shemar Moore and follows a locally born and bred S.W.A.T. sergeant and his team of highly-trained men and women as they solve crimes in Los Angeles.

Kelly Kahl, President of CBS Entertainment made a statement about the renewals.
“Thanks to these exceptional shows, we’re going to win the current season by 1 million viewers. Next year, we’ll have these strong returning series as our foundation…and Super Bowl LV too. It’s a well-balanced lineup across Entertainment, News and Sports that will put us in an incredibly stable position for 2020-2021.”
Other noteworthy action series to get green lit for a new season included Blue Bloods with Tom Selleck which enters its 11th season next year and Magnum P.I. with Jay Hernandez which will debut its third season.
As we wait for more info on the next seasons, check out some awesome action clips from both shows and get ready for a fourth season of high-octane entertainment!
