How do you spice up the assassin themed action film trope? Well, throw in some holiday cheer of course and that is exactly what Saban Films is bringing fans this season. The newest hitman laced, bullet slicing thriller is called The Holiday Hitman which sees star Nick Sagar taking on a gauntlet of cheery eyed killers in order to protect his family while also trying to bring them some much needed holiday themed family time. Scroll below for the ample samplings of festive partying coupled with mass amounts of carnage!
Hank Carter, a highly skilled hitman, has one last chance to save his marriage. Determined to give his family the perfect Christmas at a luxurious lake mansion, Hank tries to hide his dangerous profession. But when a bounty is placed on his head, waves of holiday-themed hitmen descend on the mansion, and Hank must fend them off using every Christmas decoration in sight, all while keeping his family in the dark.
Cast members include Montana Manning, Gabriela Ochoa Perez, Ricky Norwood, Florence Hall, Eloise Lovell Anderson, Mark Fleischmann, Vas Blackwood, Georgia Curtis, Tim Cullingworth-Hudson with Adam Korson and Julio Cesar Cedillo. Bradley Stryker directs and produces along with Sagar, Charley McDougall and Jamie McLeod-Ross. Charley McDougall co-writes along with Stryker.
TRAILER TACTICAL REACTION: Lord knows you can never have enough Christmas themed actioners and while The Holiday Hitman won’t give Die Hard or Lethal Weapon any serious competition for favorite action movie set during the most wonderful time of the year, this one still looks like a bloody and bombastic good time. Throw in some dark cheerful humor to go along with the blood splatter and this one just might serve its purpose. Nick Sagar looks like he’s all in and having a blast and if you can get past the CGI muzzle fire, the action design looks like they put some blood, sweat and tears into it. I’m looking forward to checking this one out as I wrap presents this year!
