Even though Director Daniel Zirilli’s vigilante action flick Hollow Point has officially hit DVD overseas, fans here in North America have been wondering when the movie will finally hit the shelves. Well, fear not because word coming out of last week’s AFM has Lionsgate Home Entertainment acquiring the film and is set to put it on the release slate for 2020.
The news comes via Deadline which also announced that international deals were struck as well including Italy (Minerva), South Korea (Jaye Entertainment), Benelux (Premiere), Eastern Europe (Daro), Turkey (Moviebox), Middle East (Eagle), Portugal and CIS (Daro), and pan-Asia (Fox Network).
Lionsgate will be releasing Hollow Point here in the States through its Grindstone Entertainment label. The film stars Luke Goss who is surrounded by a great supporting action cast featuring Juju Chan (Wu Assassins), Jay Mohr (Jerry Maguire), Michael Paré (The Infiltrator) and Bill Duke (Mandy). Dilan Jay makes his debut in a tale of an ordinary professor who joins a group of underground vigilantes led by Goss in order to get revenge for the murder of his family.
Written by Daylight’s End Scribe Chad Law along with Evan Law and Zirilli, the film released a teaser trailer a while ago which features a lot of the kick ass footage we are in store for.
Action-FLIX contributor Danny Templegod got his hands on one of the import DVD’s and you can check out his early review of the film here: https://action-flix.com/2019/07/30/dans-movie-report-review-hollow-point/
