Looks like Jason Momoa’s step daughter is following his footsteps into the comic book film world. The next big piece of official casting news has finally hit for THE BATMAN which will see Robert Pattinson step into the role of a younger Caped Crusader as The Wrap is bringing word that actress Zoe Kravitz has been picked to play the coveted role of Selena Kyle AKA Catwoman.

Kravitz is best known for Mad Max: Fury Road and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Kravitz joins Pattinson as well as Jeffrey Wright who is still in talks to play Commissioner Gordon and Jonah Hill who will play an undisclosed villain in the film.

The Batman has been in development ever since 2015 when director Matt Reeves took over the project from Ben Affleck who stepped down as Director and ultimately the role of Batman which he played in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and Justice League. Reeves has been working on the script for quite sometime and has done numerous rewrites. It looks as if the ball is officially starting to roll a little faster on the film.

Reeve’s film is being described as a character driven movie that is supposed to include a Rogue’s Gallery of villains. The film will focus on Batman’s experiences as the “world’s greatest detective” during his earlier years.

The Batman is scheduled to start production soon and is set for a June 25th, 2021 release.
