Warhammer: Odyssey — Now Is the Time for Heroes Trailer

THE MANDALORIAN: The Trailer for the First Ever STAR WARS Series is in One Word…EPIC!

This was a nice surprise as I wasn’t expecting Disney to release the first trailer for the very first Star Wars series, The MANDALORIAN, but they did drop it about an hour ago and while it is but a teaser, it is nothing short of epic as we are treated to a promo that has the look and feel of a feature film rather than a series on a steaming service. Please indulge yourself below of the excellent tease that will leave you wanting more.

Official Synopsis: The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order as we follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The teaser starts out with images of a Stormtrooper graveyard and from there it only gets better as we witness the birth of a new generation of Star Wars brilliance. We have one bad ass looking IG droid who is a pretty good shot with a blaster, and the look and feel of the classic films but upgraded for a new generation of action packed, sci-fi awesomeness. The best part of the trailer is seeing The Mandalorian himself in a High Noon-esque scene where he is about to unload on some unfortunate soldiers who are in his way.

The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal as the blaster wieldong bounty hunter with genre great Carl Weathers playing Greef Carga who is the leader of a guild of intergalactic bounty hunters who hires the Mandalorian for a job. MMA warrior turned action star Gina Carano stars as Cara Dune, a former Rebel Shock Trooper who is having some issues reinserting herself back into society. Also starring are Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi,

You can bet your ass, I’ll be watching this one when it premieres on The Disney+ service and it looks like it’s definitely worth the monthly subscription price alone. Sign me up you Rebel Scum! No Disney doesn’t need any of my help promoting their product of course but I’m a fanboy and even with my little old site, I love to help get the word of mouth out to the masses and this one looks well worth the price of admission.

The Mandalorian hits Disney+ starting on November 12th when the streaming service is officially launched so in the meantime, check out the trailer below and get ready for a darker and edgier Star Wars like you’ve never seen before!
