Hong Kong action cinema is getting a major kick in the ass with the new action-thriller Line Walker 2 which stars Nick Cheung, Louis Koo and Frances Ng as tough as nails police operatives who are on the hunt for a mole planted by the Triads. Official Synopsis: TVB’s Line Walker 2: The Movie is a rebooted sequel of the 2016 film, which also starred Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼). The sequel film features Nick Cheung, Louis Koo, and Francis Ng as new characters, all plagued by a conspiracy that a triad had planted a mole within the police force.
The original Line Walker is actually available on Netflix to stream as we speak. Charmaine Sheh was the star of the original although could not appear in the follow up.
Helmed by Jazz Boone, the film will open initially in China on August 9th so hopefully we get a worldwide announcement sometime after that. Check mout the new trailer below!
