James Reece is back and he’s dusting off his lethal black ops skill set for another salvo of savage tactical action in season two of The Terminal List. Building off the ferocious first season and the prequel Dark Wolf, the sophomore season looks to ramp up the bullet slicing theatrics with gripping and emotional drama laced with cinematic style action set pieces featuring second to none tactical ferocity. Check out the new footage as James Reece goes dark once again!
The mission continues. The Terminal List Season 2 returns October 21!
The second season is based off author and creator Jack Carr’s novel True Believer which sends Reece “on a journey of violent redemption, finding a new purpose after finishing his list. From the best-selling novels of the same name, The Terminal List centers on Navy SEAL Commander James Reece (Chris Pratt) as he battles unknown conspiratorial forces seeking to upend the world order. This season comes from Jack Carr’s second novel, True Believer, where he puts James Reece on a journey of violent redemption, finding a new purpose after finishing his list. The psychological revenge thriller of Season One opens up into a globe-trotting espionage thriller taking Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Joined by returning fan favorites like Raife Hastings (Tom Hopper), Katie Buranek (Constance Wu), Mohammed Farooq (Dar Salim), Jules Landry (Luke Hemsworth) and newcomers like Freddy Strain (Gabriel Luna), Reece will uncover a conspiracy that reaches from Moscow to Langley and ties into his own family’s history.”
Pratt stars along with an amazing cast including Tom Hopper, Constance Wu, Dar Salim, Luke Hemsworth, Gabriel Luna, Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Arnold Vosloo and Shiraz Tzarfati.
TRAILER TACTICAL REACTION: Season one of The Terminal List satisfied the military carnage itch besides some pacing issues and this new season looks even better with Pratt’s Reece still reeling from the events before that claimed the lives of his brothers in arms and family. Although the new promo is light on the cinematic action, make no mistake as they are just saving the best for when the show drops. Expect the same merciless CQB punishment and grounded set pieces that electrified the first set of episodes as well as the prequel. The Terminal List is the perfect remedy for those like me that miss SEAL Team and other shows like Strike Back so hopefully they continue to deliver on the tactical goodness like Reacher.
Season Two of The Terminal List hits October 21st with all eight episodes!
