At this point, all you have to do is mention the title of a new Jason Statham actioner and I’m firmly all on board. Add in a few trailers that deliver bloody rampaging Statham awesomeness and you have me salivating lie a hound looking at its next tasty slice of steak. Now that Lionsgate has issued new clips from The Stath’s newest called Mutiny and I’m pretty confident that I will love this entry in the action icon’s filmography arsenal.
Lionsgate has dropped a second blood-soaked clip for Mutiny and where the first one was all about the bang, bang, this latest sequence tease is all stabby, stabby with Statham slicing through the gauntlet with savage precision. We all know how furious The Furious (pun intended) was but Mutiny looks to give it competition with a more grounded and brutal approach to the action and we all know that Statham is his own genre now so ladies and gentlemen, scroll below for the glorious execution of bladed weaponry and close quarters brutality that has no equal with the latest clip for the action-thriller that hits this Friday!
In MUTINY, after witnessing his billionaire boss’s murder and being framed for the crime, Cole Reed (Jason Statham) boards a cargo ship on a one-man crusade to avenge his boss’ death only to discover an international conspiracy.
Along with the new clip. Lionsgate also dropped anew poster which features a clever image of Statham holding a gun that is also the ship that he invades in the movie. Check out the cool Statham vibes with the new one sheet below!
The first clip was oozing Gun Fu mayhem with Statham unloading a bevy of rounds into unfortunate assailants and now this one highlights the more intricate action design of knife fighting with Statham punctuating the bruising sequence with a gory horror level finishing move to his opponent. It’s pure, barbaric and visceral Statham damage on full display and this confirms that Mutiny might be Statham’s best film even overshadowing The Beekeeper which was heralded as the finest hour in the action icon’s career. Ewe shall see but one thing is clear and that’s Mutiny will be vintage, immersive statham action at its most lethal and devastating. LFG!!
