The wait is almost over to see Jon Bernthal’s triumphant solo return as the gun toting vigilante we all know and love in Punisher: One Last Kill. A first look teaser has just dropped for the Disney+ one shot special which hits one week after the season finale to Daredevil: Born Again. Bernthal looks as advertised in the very short but brutal tease as he takes aim and exterminates with extreme prejudice. Take your first look at Frank’s return below! Welcome back Frank!
The tease is literally a tease as it is roughly around 12 seconds long and shows Bernthal’s iconic skull as he unsheathes a knife followed by Castle aiming his pistol down low and firing off a shot before the title hits on screen. The unexpected stinger hit at the end of the newest trailer for the second half of season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again. Expect a more extended trailer to hit any day now.
The Punisher: One Last Kill is set to hit the Disney streaming service on May 12th and that is one sentence I never thought I would say. The finale for Daredevil hits one week earlier so needless to say, the wait is almost over.
There is a brief synopsis for the special and it reads: “As Frank Castle searches for meaning beyond revenge, an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.” Not very informative but I’m sure more will hit while the premiere gets closer.
Now we wait for a trailer for The Punisher: One Last Kill and we can only hope it hits soon. Lock “N Load Punisher faithful as Bernthal proclaimed on social media, “Welcome back Frank!”
