March is coming and with it hopefully warmer weather, but we do know that Daredevil: Born Again season 2 will definitely heat things up when it jumps onto screens. Marvel Studios and Disney have unleashed the devil and with it it’s time to dance with him and rebel against the dying of the light. The new trailer is wild, unhinged and gloriously violent with a hero on the edge. There may be no Punisher this time around, but Matt Murdock still has allies to call upon, and the long awaited return of Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones is one of them. Scroll below for the official footage!
“In Season 2, Mayor Wilson Fisk crushes New York City underfoot as he hunts down public enemy number one, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil. But beneath the horned mask, Matt Murdock will try to fight back from the shadows to tear down the Kingpin’s corrupt empire and redeem his home. Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.”

Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock with fellow returning cast members Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page. Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye and Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn. Season two also brings hungry fans from the Netflix era the triumphant return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, while Matthew Lillard makes his debut as the mysterious Mr. Charles (no one tell Quentin Tarantino that he’s in it though).
We also see the return of Foggy Nelson played by Elden Henson. Before people get exited and believe that their fan theories are correct, it’s import to note that it would appear that the return is through flashbacks as his hair style resonates the older seasons of the show.

Many complained that the initial first season and return of the man without fear took too long to get going but you have to remember that this was supposed to be all one season before Marvel broke it up. With that the pedal was placed firmly on metal at the end of season one and with it, the next round of episodes looks to ramp up the comic book action. Who knows as Jon Bernthal’s Punisher might still make a surprise appearance as it was rumored a few weeks back but even if he’s MIA here, he will still be back in his own one shot special and on the big screen in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The new season still looks full-throttle and may the action design return to form as well as the war for the streets of N.Y. is ready to erupt.
