Adkins posted the image on his social media and stated, “Triumphant after dishing out the ultra-violence on the set of BEDLAM. Loads of great fights in this very unique movie'”
The film looks truly unique, and Adkins is sporting a different look for the role which sees him with long hair. Bedlam sees Adkins infiltrating the notorious mental institution named Bedlam when his sister goes missing. What looks to transpire is some form of underground combat which is par for the course with these places back in the day. I kid of course but it is Adkins once again delivering something a little off the beat and path while at the same time giving his fans the ultimate Adkins action that they crave.
Adkins has been hyping Bedlam up since production started and also unveiled a behind the scenes pic from the set which demonstrates his insane flexibility. Bedlam hails from director Jon Shaikh (Our World War) and you can see more of the distinctive 18th century look for Adkins.

The synopsis for Bedlam reads: Set in 1750’s London the film follows the gripping journey of a bare-knuckle boxer, a man of grit and determination, who faces formidable enemies and overwhelming odds. His mission is deeply personal: to break his sister out of the infamous mental asylum Bedlam. Wrongfully imprisoned by the Duke of Cumberland, her plight serves as the catalyst for his relentless quest for justice.
Bare-knuckle brawler. Man of determination and grit. Formidable enemies and overwhelming odds. Adkins kicking ass looking like he just fought in a battle during the Revolutionary War. This project certainly has scaled up m y must see list for next year. Coming off the heels of his latest pic Prisoner of War, Scott is looking to once again do something different and innovative yet again while keeping his signature skills intact for all of his fans. The plot of infiltrating a real life and infamous historical hospital in 1750’s London is rather intriguing. That and having to take on a horde of mental patients too also gives this one the required flavor for Adkins and action fans.
