Action icon Michael Jai White is back and badder than ever in his latest actioner Trouble Man which just recently made its theatrical, digital, and VOD release last Friday. White also directs and brings all of his bruising swagger to his latest character of Jaxon who is a former cop turned PI and on the case of a missing R&B singer. Entering the gritty and unforgiving underbelly of organized crime and violence, Jaxon uses all of his signature lethal skills to get the job done right.
To celebrate the release, Samuel Goldwyn Films has given us an exclusive clip from the film which features White and co-star Cliff “Method Man” Smith navigating a tricky conversation. Check out the exclusive clip below!
Jaxen, a former cop turned Atlanta PI, is hired to find missing R&B star Jahari. His investigation uncovers her disappearance is connected to a larger conspiracy, forcing him to question those around him and his own past.

White performs the hat trick here as he not only stars in the film, but he also directed and co-wrote the script with Michael Stradford along with producing with Craig Baumgarten and Ron Robinson. White stars as hard-hitting former cop turned P.I. Jaxon along with Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Mike Epps, Gillian White, Orlando Jones, and La La Anthony.

White also directed two of his Never Back Down flicks along with the highly regarded Outlaw Johnny Black and is definitely apt in translating action onto the screen. Trouble Man looks to fuse bullets, brawn and bravado with White’s signature dry wit as his character of Jaxen slices through a gauntlet of thugs and assorted criminals to solve the case. White is the quintessential leading man and always delivers the hardcore action.
