What happens when the movie Aliens mates with a William Kaufman directed bullet infused military pic? Well, you get his latest in the high-octane new thriller called Osiris. Genre icon Linda Hamilton leads a spectacular cast including Max Martini in a tale of battle-hardened spec ops commandos who get more than they could ever have bargained for on a mission when they are abducted by ruthless extra-terrestrials. That’s right! It’s savage ETs locking horns with the best of the best the military has to offer, and the tracer fire is ready to slice through the air. Check out the new trailer from Vertical Entertainment below!
Special Forces commandos are abducted mid-operation by a mysterious spacecraft and, upon awakening, team up with a mysterious woman (Linda Hamilton) in a fight for survival against a relentless alien race.
Kaufman, who is best known to hardcore action fans for films like Jarhead 3: The Siege and The Channel, helms the pic which features Sarah Connor herself Linda Hamilton and The Unit and Lioness’ Max Martini. The standout supporting cast includes Brianna Hildebrand, Lamonica Garrett, Michael Irby, Linds Edwards and Jarren Mitchell. Kaufman penned the script as well along with Paul Reichelt (The Channel, Nightingale).

Sounds like the perfect marriage of Aliens and 13 Hours and Kaufman rarely disappoints when it comes to delivering solid indie action and carnage on the screen. Kaufman is best known for The Channel which also starred Martini and adding Hamilton (rocking a rad eastern European accent) for this sci-fi tinged outing was a stroke of genius and will, without a doubt, check all the boxes for genre fans like me. This film looks like the perfect combination of top shelf alien mayhem infused with legit tactical combat action so where do I sign up?
“Working with Max Martini for a second time, Linda Hamilton, Brianna Hildebrand and the legendary creature effects maestro Todd Masters, along with the rest of our exceptional cast and crew, to bring this old-school action sci-fi thriller to life was just incredible,” Kaufman said in a statement with Variety back in May.
The director added, “We filmed the movie as practically as possible from the aliens, set builds, and stunts – all to stay true to the movies we love. We are thrilled to partner with Vertical to reach a wide audience that will appreciate our approach.”
Vertical will release Osiris on July 25th so lock n load for some brutal and unforgiving combat that’s out of this world!
