Lionsgate is coming in hot and heavy with the promotion for the latest spin-off from the John Wick Universe. Ana de Armas is the newest killer of killers, and she isn’t alone as she is starring with a sensational cast including the Baba Yaga himself Keanu Reeves! From the World of John Wick: Ballerina is set to assault cinemas on June 6th, and we have all-new character posters, 11 of them, to debut for you here. Check out the entire cast below!
Ana de Armas plays the lethal lady skilled in tactical violence who seeks to avenge her family when they are killed by hitmen. The film takes place in the shared universe of Wick so franchise stars will include Ian McShane as Winston as the owner of the Continental Hotel, along with the late, great Lance Reddick as Charon, who is The Continental’s concierge and right-hand man to Winston. Anjelica Huston will also reprise her role as the Director, the head of the Ruska Roma while franchise star Keanu Reeves will make an appearance as Wick himself. New cast members include Norman Reedus, Catalina Sandino Mareno, David Byrne, and David Castañeda.
Ana de Armas stars as a young lady named Eve Macarro who is drawn into the world of the High Table when her family is murdered. Ian McShane’s Winston takes her in and brings her to the infamous ballerina school where all is not what it seems and she is trained to eliminate those who wronged her and essentially “To stop the assassin, you must become the assassin.”
Mass carnage and expertly choreographed mayhem ensues as Eve transforms into a nonstop killing machine and sets her sights on everyone that is responsible for her family’s death. Even Wick himself gets involved as Keanu Reeves, of course, makes an appearance to take Eve out before she can complete her blood-soaked journey of destruction and vengeance.
