He hasn’t been gone long since the Jack Ryan TV series on Prime wrapped up, but John Krasinski is back and armed to the teeth in a new first look photo shared by the star as filming is now underway on the theatrical adaptation of the hit show. Helmed by Andrew Bernstein who served as an executive producer and director on Season 2, the movie will hit the ground running after the events of the series finale which will see Tom Clancy’s iconic CIA agent dealing with more international threats. Plot details are being kept top secret right now, but we do know that series regulars Wendell Pierce, Michael Kelly, and Betty Gabriel are reprising their series roles as James Greer, Mike November, and Elizabeth Wright respectively. New cast additions for the movie include Sienna Miller, Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge, and JJ Feild.
The Jack Ryan movie is coming from Amazon MGM Studios, Paramount Pictures, and Skydance. Krasinski is also serving as a producer with Allyson Seeger via Sunday Night Productions with Andrew Form also producing. David Ellison and Dana Goldberg are executive producers for Skydance along with John Kelly and Carlton Cuse.
