It’s Election Night and regardless of what happens, I’m going to wake up tomorrow, take my little girl to school and hope the world doesn’t plunge into eternal chaos. With that said, I have more AFM news for y’all as the newest military combat thriller Valiant One is hitting the Film Market for distribution sales interest courtesy of Film Bridge International who acquired international rights. Directed by Steve Barnett, the thriller tells the courageous story of a unit of non-combative specialists who must tack up in order to navigate their way out of North Korea while delivering a very important civilian tech to safety.
The full synopsis reads: “The story follows a routine mission that goes awry when a U.S. Army helicopter crashes deep within North Korean territory. Now, a team of non-combat tech specialists, led by Captain Edward Brockman, must navigate the hostile terrain and fend off North Korean forces as they desperately race to escort a civilian tech specialist across the treacherous Demilitarized Zone.”

Chase Stokes (Outer Banks) and Lana Condor (To All the Boys franchise) headline the film which is described as “a universal story of courage under fire and resilience.” Additional cast members include Desmin Borges (Only Murders in the Building) and Callan Mulvey (The Grey Man).
Valiant One is prestigious as the movie had the benefit of being supervised by former members of the U.S. Military, CIA, and Department of Defense to create an extra layer of military authenticity to the proceedings. Barnett also penned the script with Eric Tipton.
“Valiant One is a universal story of courage under fire and resilience,” The FBI’s Ellen Wander and Jordan Dykstra stated. “We are very excited to show our buyers at AFM this heroic survival story with first-class production value.”
I’m a sucker for a well-executed military actioner so Valiant One is firmly in my crosshairs so lock n load for more to follow!
