The Venom movies have been very much hit and miss with me with the first film’s action sequence pitting Venom against a SWAT team probably being my favorite moment. The dynamic and relationship of Eddie Brock, played by Tom Hardy, and the Symbiote would probably be the best thing about the films but aside from that, there’s not much in terms of being memorable. They are leagues better than Mobius and I still have not seen Madame Web.
Sony has officially released a final trailer, because you know we can’t have just one trailer for a movie these days, for Venom: The Last Dance which will see the final run for Eddie and Venom as their world is collapsing around them. Scroll below for the latest footage.
Official Synopsis: In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.

Starring along with Hardy, the supporting cast includes Juno Temple (Ted Lasso), Clark Backo (Letterkenny), and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness). There has been no real intel on new characters, but the movie looks just as wild as the previous two entries. Kelly Marcel makes her feature film debut here which might not bode well as the past directors have been Ruben Fleischer and Andy Serkis. Say what you will, Hardy has been all in from the beginning with his portrayal of Eddie Brock so that’s a definite positive.
Regardless, I’ll be there to check it out and I will also revisit the first two films in preparation to see if they resonate with me any better. We shall see.
