Launching in September is action/martial arts star turned action designer and now director J.J. “Loco” Perry‘s follow up to his hit Netflix effort Day Shift. Just like that freshman directorial effort, Perry’s sophomore entry is just as stacked with action icons and stars with Dave Bautista leading the way in the ultra-violent and hyper-kinetic actioner The Killer’s Game.
New key art has surfaced as of yesterday which is loads better than the initial poster we got and this one is sporting the eclectic cast of onscreen adrenaline junkies who will look to take Bautista out. Scroll below to view the eye popping and fan service laden new one sheet!

In the new action-comedy THE KILLER’S GAME, when top hitman Joe Flood (Dave Bautista) is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to take matters into his own hands – by taking a hit out on himself. But when the very hitmen he hired also targets his ex-girlfriend (Sofia Boutella), he must fend off an army of assassin colleagues and win back the love of his life before it’s too late.
Director and stunt performer J.J. Perry (John Wick: Chapter 2, The Fate of the Furious, The Rundown) directs from a script by Rand Ravich and James Coyne based on Jay R. Bonansinga’s book.
Dave Bautista leads the cast alongside Sofia Boutella (Atomic Blonde, Hotel Artemis, Argylle), Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, White Chicks), Scott Adkins (John Wick: Chapter 4, Dayshift, Avengement), with Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Thunder Force, Westworld), and Ben Kingsley (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Sexy Beast, Schindler’s List).
The Killer’s Game is going to scratch the action itch and certainly be a hyper-violent R-rated actioner which just may be Bautista’s John Wick judging from the looks of the stylish look and action set pieces the trailer teases. The assassins sent in to try and take Bautista’s character out is a squadron of action film icons including Scott Adkins, Marko Zaror, and Daniel Bernhardt so adrenaline junkies of cinema like me will have much cause for celebration when this one hits. Throw in a stellar supporting cast that includes the MCU’s Pom Klementieff, Terry Crews, Rebel Moon’sSofia Boutella, and Sir Ben Kingsley himself and this one has blood red gold written all over it.
J.J. Perry is a wizard at crafting elite action design in movies and he is another prime example that stunt professionals who cut their teeth in the stunt industry for years are making the best action directors putting content out there for the masses. His directorial debut, Day Shift with Jamie Foxx, was a solid intro for the maestro as he created a unique take on the tried-and-true vampire subgenre combined with hyper-kinetic fight action.
This bodes well for fans who are eager to check out this one and to see what Perry does for a bullet riddled encore.
The Killer’s Game Assaults Theaters on September 11th!!!
