If Deadpool & Wolverine coming out in less than two weeks isn’t enough to get comic book fandom in a tizzy, after all this is the film that looks to revitalize a slumping MCU, we know have the official teaser trailer for Captain America: Brave New World! Anthony Mackie is back as the New Cap and Harrison Ford makes his long-awaited debut as he now plays Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross as he has taken over for the late, great William Hurt who sadly passed away some time ago. This teaser confirms it! Red Hulk is coming and nothing is going to stand in this fan favorite’s way! Check out the new teaser and key art below!
After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.

The trailer is locked n loaded with several sensational action set pieces and we see the return of numerous MCU characters including Danny Ramirez who is the new Falcon, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns, better known as The Leader, and Liv Tyler who returns as Ross’s daughter, Betty. Tyler played the role in Edward Norton’s The Incredible Hulk so it’s awesome to see the MCU recognize that film once again. Giancarlo Esposito also makes his debut as a character that is still unknown although there have been several fan rumors on who he is playing. One thing is for sure and that is he is not a fan of Sam.
The new trailer showcases what Feige showed at the Las Vegas CinemaCon and it’s been well documented of the massive reshoots this one went through. I’m still positive though and here’s hoping those reshoots just made a good movie even better.

Julius Onah helms the film which Kevin Feige teased that it would be lower key similar to Captain America: The Winter Soldier. That suits me just fine as The Winter Soldier is one of my favorite comic book films of all time. That film is essentially a martial arts film so bring on the action design again with this newer version!
We still have 8 months to wait as Captain America: Brave New World doesn’t hit theaters until February 14th, 2025. Good thing Wade and Logan are coming right around the corner!!!
