In uncertain times like these, we can all use an old friend to roll back into our lives like a hurricane. Someone to crumple up all the political correctness and Woke BS into a ball and throw it into the dumpster. The 80’s were a flawed and magnificent time and even with all the problems that arose, it still seems like that decade was a lot cooler and hipper. It’s also the decade where a little-known comedic actor (well not that little) would create one of the most iconic movie characters of all time and blasts his way into cinema immortality with the film that is Beverly Hills Cop. Murphy’s Axel Foley was equal parts slapstick and action hero, and he was always quick with a zinger even when the bullets started flyinmg. The sequel was bigger and badder and even though the third film fumbled the ball, it was still great to see Foley back on the case.
Well, the F bombs are back bitches as Netflix has unveiled the final trailer for Murphy’s fourth outing as the Detroit police detective who finds himself in La La Land once again and even though this one is bypassing theaters for the sake of streaming, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F looks to be a return to form and a return to the 80’s. Foley’s back baby and he’s bringing some old friends with him for all the fun as we have the trailer below!
After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.

Just like Murtaugh said in Lethal Weapon, “I’m getting too old for this sh!t” but how can you feel like that when you see Foley reunite with Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold), John Taggart (John Ashton) as well as sight for old eyes Jeffrey Friedman (Paul Reiser) and Serge (Bronson Pinchot) as they try to unravel a mystery that is linked with Foley’s daughter. Mark Malloy takes over directing duties this time around and it looks like he nails it paying homage to the original while bringing the franchise into this generation. The final trailer is loaded with all the things you could want from a Beverly Hills Cop movie including shenanigans, wisecracks, F bombs. massive action set pieces and Murphy doing Axel Foley things.
