Hot news coming out of this week’s EFM as Sylvester Stallone is set to return to his Rocky hometown of Philidelphia to star in a new and gritty crime-thriller called The Epiphany. AGC Studios is launching sales this week and I feel this one will be scooped up in seconds with Sly involved.
Will Eubank (Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin) has been tapped to helm the flick which will see The Italian stallion starring as “hard-nosed, soon to retire police detective (Stallone) who must team up with a younger cop and former priest to stop a serial killer on a murderous crusade through the wintery streets of Philadelphia.”
Production is looking for a summer start in front of the cameras on location on the streets of Rocky’s hometown. Katie Lovejoy and Russell Sommer co-penned the screenplay.
No word on who will play the young cop opposite Stallone but expect more announcements to hit soon!
