After releasing a string of bullet ballet infused crime sagas and fist and feet pounding martial arts epics, international action star Donnie Yen is switching it up for his latest which is a disaster epic titled Polar Rescue. Yen stars a s a desperate father who risks it all to save his son when he is lost during a brutal snowstorm. Well Go USA will be releasing the film for western audiences this March on Blu-Ray and Digital and we have the box art and official trailer for you below!

After a young boy gets lost during a bitter snowstorm, his frantic parents seek help from the local police, who are soon faced with a desperate race against the clock as hours tick by with no sign of the child. Co-directed by Lo Chi Leung (Double Tap, The Bullet Vanishes) and Donnie Yen, POLAR RESCUE also stars Cecilia Han (The Golden Doll) and Jia Bing (Give Me Five, The Eleventh Chapter).
Synopsis:

Fans of seeing Yen kick ass onscreen will be disappointed here as this is a straight up rescue and disaster epic but don’t let that scare you away as it’s great to see Donnie do something out of the norm. After all, this isn’t the first time Yen has switched gears onscreen and this one looks to pour the drama and stunt work on thick and in a good way. Yen still gets physical and puts his body in danger for his art so be sure to check this one out when Polar Rescue hits home video and Digital March 26th!!!
