This one pretty much slipped under my radar and it’s plot is pretty standard but you know I’m still going to check it out even though the concept has been thoroughly used like anything else in Hollywood. Plus it stars Mark Wahlbergabd he’s always solid (I even enjoyed Infinite…shhhhhh don’t tell anybody).
Titled The Family Plan (original title as well), Wahlberg stars as an ex-elite bad ass who must dust off his particular skill set to take his family on vacation so bad guys from his past won’t catch up with him. Something tells me that they’re eventually going to as there wouldn’t be a movie with all went to plan. Think National Lampoon’s Vacation like Chevy Chase’s iconic comedy but probably not as good and with action set pieces.

Simon Cellan Jones directs the PG-13 family fun with stunts and bullets with Bridgett Monaghan, Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, Saïd Taghmaoui, Maggie Q, Ciarán Hinds heading up the rest of the cast.
