Here’s a new movie that mashes up genres and serves up a creepy tinge to the proceedings. Blending spec ops action with unthinkable horror comes the new movie Black Noise from director Phillippe Martinez who helmed the excellent JCVD DTV action film Wake of Death. Alex Pettyfer and Jackson Rathbone star as elite security operatives who lead a team on a mission that isn’t all that it seems. When an unseeable force begins to take them out one by one, they’ll have to rely on all their deadly and signature skill sets to stay alive.
Key Art and trailer below!
Alex Pettyfer and Jackson Rathbone star as an elite team of security contractors deployed to rescue a VIP from an exclusive island estate. Upon arrival they encounter an empty island, masked gunmen, and a strange siren sound that assaults their bodies as well as their minds.

In terms of action, this looks more like a taut, nail biting slow burn but that could be the draw for fans looking for something a little different when it comes to spec ops thrills. I was impressed with Jackson Rathbone in The Island where he co-starred with Michael Jai White and he continues to look commanding here. Alex Pettyfer (I am Number Four) also shares headlining duties with Rathbone with Eve Mauro, Wayne Gordon, Sadie Newman, and Niki Spridakos rounding out the cast.
Black Noise switches on the fear when it hits on November 3rd courtesy of Saban Films!
