Indie filmmaker Ranjeet S. Marwa is definitely one talent who makes the movies the way he wants to. From horror to action, Marwa delivers unapologetic and violent art for genre fans that strips down adrenaline to its most primal and animalistic form. Basically, his movies kick all kinds of ass.
Known for such blood soaked projects like Exiled: The Chosen Ones and Rupture, Marwa knows how to capture extreme and bone crunching action on a budget. It’s a credit to his skills as to how he can do what he can with very little but when you love your job and entertaining people, it’s a no brainer why he’s considered one of the rawest filmmakers around.
Now, for his next venture, Marwa is enlisting has Exiled star and go to ass kicker Nick Khan (Marvel’s The Eternals/ Intercept) for an assassin themed action-thriller titled The Contract which is being described as a cross between David Fincher’s The Killer and William Friedkin’s The Hunted in a story of a contract killer who finds himself the target of the city’s most ruthless crime boss. Now hunted by other assassins, he will have to utilize his signature skills as an elite killer to survive the gauntlet of enemies at his doorstep.
Marwa recently revealed teaser concept art for the movie featuring Khan armed and ready for action. Check it out below!

The action project will also star David Lamont (Rupture / Spring Lakes), Carl Wharton (The Last Redemption), Ermar Alexander (Hobbs & Shaw / The Marvels), Ron Smoorenburg (Triple Threat) and Jason Adams (Spring Lakes / Bluff) with more cast members to be announced in the near future. Aside from helming the pic, Marwa also penned the script as well.
The Contract will see an IndieGoGo campaign launching soon which will, like always, give backers of the movie perks for pledging and donating to help complete the film. Some perks have already been announced including a producer credit as well as a cameo walk on role in the movie.
Khan has proven himself a beast in action movies with in the aforementioned Exiled: The Chosen Ones along with Renegades and Invincible to name a few. He’s also served as stunt coordinator and fight choreographer with over 15 years of expertise in the martial. Khan is also involved in Close Combat Action Choreography Design which includes Edged-Weapons and Firearms. Khan has experience in the British Army’s Infantry so he’s the reel deal when it comes to onscreen adrenaline.
One thing’s for sure, with Marwa and Khan teaming up again, you can expect unflinching and uncompromising action set pieces with rapid fire shootouts and can’t miss fisticuffs aplenty. Be sure to Lock N Load right here for more Intel and details on The Contract to follow!
In the meantime, check out Nick Khan switching into full on beast mode in the concept video below to see what we can expect from this new project!
