We are a mere few weeks away from the release of the highly anticipated fourth film in The Expendables franchise and with the release of the Red Band Trailer a while back, fans are chomping at the bit to view the latest entry in the action extravaganza as it looks to be a return to bloody form for the series that slipped with the release of the last installment which was PG-13. Expend4bles looks to be rock solid in both actions set pieces which look blood soaked and fan service with all the favorites returning in Stallone, Statham, Lundgre and Couture with new additions including action sensations Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais.

THE EXPENDABLES 2: The Expendables are back in a sequel that J. THE EXPENDABLES 3: Barney (Stallone) faces off with an old enemy and must fight old blood with new blood, bringing in a new era of Expendables who are younger and faster. The only drawback to buying these are with the first film as it only contains the theatrical version of the movie and not Stallone’s much better director’s cut. If you have the extended version, as do I, then having at least the theatrical cut in 4K is still worth it. It is important to note that The Expendables 3 SteelBook does also contain the unrated cut as well. Any way you slice it, these are still worth owning if you’re a fan and let’s face it, you know you are and even with the third film even if you don’t admit it in public. Get ready to watch the fourth movie by running out and unloading your hard-earned money on these must have SteelBooks. Boom Lay Boom !
