Wolf Pack got hit hard with shrapnel from critics and fans alike upon its initial China release and subsequent stream on HI-YAH! but I recently acquired a hard target viewing of the movie and was pleased with the results. Does it have a cliche plot? check. Does it lack characterization? Check. Does it offer nothing new in terms of action cinema originality? Check.
On the other hand, does it feature explosions, gun battles, fisticuffs, knife fights and Max Zhang displaying his signature kick ass skills as he takes out enemy combatants with ease? Check and check all around. I really don’t know what people want in terms of action these days but this one checked all the boxes in my opinion. Be on the lookout for my Action Fix review coming soon!
Country of Origin: China
WOLF PACK has a runtime of approximately 105 minutes and is not rated.
