Gravitas Features has given us an exclusive clip from their new crime thriller Welcome to Redville. Starring Jake Manley, the movie tells the story of two thieves who have a really bad day when a botched robbery lands them in the quirky town of Redville. Check out the new clip below!
Official Synopsis: Leo (Manley) and Toni (Kuan) are a young couple who flee from the police after a botched robbery and lie low in the secluded desert town of Redville. Soon, they have a run-in with the local sheriff (Elliot), whose daughter entices Leo to steal her uncle’s million-dollar diamond.
Isaac Eaton helms the film and starring are Jake Manley (THE ORDER), Chris Elliott (SCHITT’S CREEK) & Highdee Kuan (THE BROTHERS SUN).
Eaton spoke about the film:
“I have always loved movies with multiple layers, hints of a deeper meaning and allegories beyond the main plot. It was my intention when I wrote and directed Welcome To Redville to craft a film following this vision. Leo, the protagonist thinks he has a “big plan” but in the grand scheme of things, he’s just a “little man with a little plan” running around in circles and burning things down,” stated Eaton.
