The cast has assembled as Lionsgate has officially unveiled a new poster for the highly anticipated Expend4bles which sees franchise star Jason Statham front and center with franchise creator Sylvester Stallone taking a back seat. Check out the new key art below!

A new generation of stars joins the world’s top action stars for an adrenaline-fueled adventure in The Expendables 4. Reuniting as the team of elite mercenaries, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone are joined for the first time by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Iwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy Garcia. Armed with every weapon they can get their hands on and the skills to use them, The Expendables are the world’s last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table. But new team members with new styles and tactics are going to give “new blood” a whole new meaning.
The new poster shows off the high octane cast armed and ready as an explosion lights up the picture. A new video accompanies the poster launch and features a new track from the Red Hot Chili Peppers called Can’t Stop. I’m not sure how I feel about it but it definitely won’t surpass Shinedown’s Diamond Eyes which happens to be my favorite song. Check out the video reveal below!
We all know that Sly is stepping down after this one with his right-hand man The Stath taking over for the future. It’ll be interesting to see how it’s handled but I’m sure it’ll be done with respect.
The Expend4bles stars returning franchise members Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture. The new additions include Megan Fox, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, international martial arts icon Tony Jaa, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and Andy Garcia. Iko Uwais who has excelled in adrenaline cinema over the last ten years is playing the nemesis this time around. Stunt pro turned director Scott Waugh helms from a screenplay by Spenser Cohen which was revised by Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly.
The trailer was met with mixed reviews obviously but I thought it was just enough to get excited for. I’m a firm believer that this one will deliver as I’ve felt they all have in different capacities. September 22nd is the date so LOCK N LOAD right here for more Intel to follow!
