I know I’ve gone on record in saying that I would love to see TMNT go back to original, dark and dirty hyper- violent roots like it was when Eastman & Laird first created the underground comic but this newest animated reboot does look like a lot of fun. From the mind of superfan Seth Rogan comes an adrenaline pumped flick that features our heroes in a half shell in a whole new light. Check out new key art and trailer below!
Official Synopsis: After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

The release date for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem has been amped up a few days earlier than expected and now changes from August 4th to August 2nd!
The voice talents for the new version include Micah Abbey as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, John Cena as Rocksteady, Jackie Chan as Splinter, Ice Cube as Superfly, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Brady Noon as Raphael, Seth Rogen as Bebop, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko and Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom. Jeff Rowe helms the movie which will see the usual comedy and mischief blended with Ninja infused fight sequences. I’m in.
It’s almost Cowabunga time once again and here’s hoping this version is a step above the CGI flicks we got a few years back!
