With over a month away from its release, Universal Pictures has unveiled a new high-octane trailer for FAST X! The new promo highlights the newest villain played by Jason Momoa and it looks like he’s going to give Dom and family all they can handle. Plus there’s the usual carmageddon sequences reminiscent of a Michael Bay film. Check it out below!
Fast X was helmed by Transporter director Louis Leterrier, who came on after franchise director Justin Lin left suddenly due to creative differences with star Vin Diesel. The film was penned by Lin and Dan Mazeau, and Lin is still a producer.

Leterrier will also helm the last installment of the blockbuster franchise which was also announced today.
The latest sequel sees Vin Diesel returning along with Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, John Cena, Jason Statham, and Scott Eastwood. The tenth installment also includes the additions of Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), and Alan Ritchson (Reacher). An all-star cast for sure!
The trailer features looks at all the various set pieces in the new film and fans will have much to cheer for upon release. I never understood the hate for these films as these are perfect examples of summer popcorn flicks. They’re fun, hyper-kinetic and cool as hell if you ask me. Sue me.
FAST X hits theaters on May 19!
