Before I go any further, I must say that the release for Bloodsport on 4K is an overseas launch so you’ll need a region free player to watch it. Hopefully North America will eventually jump on the bandwagon and give these movies the releases they deserve.

Capelight Pictures and Romulus Restorations is readying the ultimate release for Jean-Claude Van Damme’s iconic Bloodsport. The German release is a stellar 4K UltraHD (UHD) transfer packaged in an ultimate edition Steelbook with stunning artwork for the cover. The release also comes locked ‘n loaded with awesome special features including behind the scenes documentaries, interviews and a stunning 24 page booklet that is a must for any serious fan.

Romulus Restorations is also set to debut a slick line of character cards of the movie to help celebrate the event and its release this year on 4K from Capelight Pictures.
