Open Road Pictures has unveiled a new macho laced trailer for Gerard Butler’s latest bullet infused actioner hitting this Memorial Fay. Kandahar sees Butler flexing his biceps as an elite CIA agent who must navigate the war zone of the Middle East when a mission goes sideways. Check out the latest footage below!

Official Synopsis:

In KANDAHAR, Tom Harris (Gerard Butler), an undercover CIA operative, is stuck deep in hostile territory in Afghanistan. After his mission is exposed, he must fight his way out, alongside his Afghan translator, to an extraction point in Kandahar, all whilst avoiding elite enemy forces and foreign spies tasked with hunting them down.

Butler stars as a black ops CIA agent who must battle his way to freedom when his cover is blown during a covert mission. Expect macho action on a grand scale as I do believe Butler is one true throwback style action star in a world that so desperately needs more.

Kandahar is readying for a Memorial Day Weekend release. The movie reunites Butler with his Angel Has Fallen director Ric Roman Waugh and looks to be another solid entry in Butler’s action filmography arsenal.
