Fans of Jason David Frank, who sadly passed away last year will get to see the martial arts actor’s last starring role in his passion project Legend of the White Dragon. The film has scored a theatrical release on the Labor Day holiday weekend and we have awesome new key art for you below!!!

Official Synopsis: The White Dragon, Erik Reed, has returned home to Virtuo City 3 years later after being defeated in a colossal battle against the ancient overlord, Ashtagor. The crystal he used to become the White Dragon was broken in two as a result of the epic battle, both pieces were subsequently lost. Being blamed for the destruction and collateral lives lost, his identity was outed after the battle thus making him a fugitive from the law.

We now follow Erik on his journey as he teams up with treasure hunters from the past who help him reclaim his power as the White Dragon. Once reunited with his powers, he and his team are now ready to battle a new threat, Dragon Prime, who seeks revenge against the White Dragon. Erik must now try and defeat Dragon Prime in order to get one step closer to clearing his name and being able to protect his family from an ancient evil that still lurks in the darkness… Ashtagor.

Martial arts icon Mark Dacascos also has a starring role along with Ciara Hanna (Power Rangers Megaforce) and Frank’s own daughter Jenna Frank. Bat in the Sun creators Aaron Schoenke and Sean Schoenke are helmed the pic.

Frank’s untimely death will surely make this movie a fitting tribute to the artist that was so wonderful to his fans throughout the years. The teaser released a whole back showcases the action, intrigue and fantasy that we are in store for. The release date will be simultaneous with Frank’s posthumous birthday as a celebration.

Having been on this journey with Jason for 10 years, I know he would be beyond excited to know that LEGEND OF THE WHITE DRAGON will be opening in theaters,” Aaron Schoenke stated in an article in Deadline.

Legend of the White Dragon is another product that saw a successful crowd finding campaign and it promises to bolster some pretty impressive action and martial arts set pieces. With the talent involved, this one is now high on my list of must see future films.
