KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC: Extreme Martial Arts Action Infuses with Sci-Fi Epicness in the New Live Action Film Based on the Popular Manga Series!

I’ve seen bits and pieces of the advertisements for the new martial arts epic Knights of the Zodiac and even did an article about it when Mark Dacascos was added to the mix. Since then, it’s been radio silent on my end but I’m looking to correct it as the film is complete and ready to be unleashed amongst the masses. Based on the ever popular Saint Seiya Manga series, the live action thrill fest is readying a 2023 release

The Toei Animation and Sony Pictures co-production has unveiled a new trailer and TV spot that will surest satisfy fans of this genre. Expect mass amounts of CGI chaos to be blended with the gravity defying action set pieces. Check it out below!

When a goddess of war reincarnates in the body of a young girl, street orphan Seiya discovers that he is destined to protect her and save the world. But only if he can face his own past and become a Knight of the Zodiac.

Helmed by Tomasz Baginski with fight choreography served up by Jackie Chan stunt team alum Andy Cheng (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), the film boasts a sensational international cast and stars Mackenyu (Rurouni Kenshin: The Final) as Seiya, Madison Iseman (Fear of Rain) as Sienna and my favorite actor Sean Bean (Game of Thrones) as Alman Kiddo. Famke Janssen (X-Men), Nick Stahl (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines), Diego Tinoco (On My Block), and, of course, martial art star and icon Mark Dacascos (Blade of the 47 Ronin).

Mark Dacascos in Knights of the Zodiac

I normally don’t get into this type of thing and never was really into Power Rangers growing up, but I’ll give this one a shot when it hits North America. Plus, I’m a huge Mark Dacascos fanatic and I’ll watch anything that he’s involved in. Did I mention I’ve interviewed him a couple times? Well here’s the shameless self plug proof below!

Keep it locked ‘n’ loaded right here for more Manga inspired madness!
