On the heels of Total Film magazine dropping some rad and tasty new covers for their exclusive coverage of the highly anticipated Keanu Reeves led adrenaline rush that is also known as John Wick: Chapter 4, we now have somewhat of a plot synopsis as well as details about some of the film’s newest characters. Check out what the fourth film will be about below and scroll down further for some juicy tidbits on a few of the newest members of Baba Yaga’s world!

Official Synopsis:
With the price on his head ever increasing, legendary hit man John Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Japan to Berlin.
To go along with the plot, we also have some new light shedded on a few of its newest members of the film including international action star Donnie Yen. According to the spread on Total Film, Yen describes his character of Caine and what director Chad Stahelski has intended for him which was an assassin based upon the iconic blind swordsman from the Zatoichi slice and dice movies.
Yen stated that Stahelski told him, ‘I get what you’re going for. I just don’t want to be the old, blind guy with a cane.’ He came back and goes, ‘If it’s all the same to you, I’d rather be the cool guy in the suit … It’s ‘John Wick.’ It’s a suit movie. It’s cool!’ I was like, ‘You know what, Donnie? You’re absolutely right!’”
“Caine is an old buddy of John Wick – and an ex-assassin as well. Most extraordinary is that he is a man who gave up his own sight in exchange for his daughter’s safety,” Yen said in the interview with Total Film.

Yen’s Caine is an ally to Wick although the two do square off as seen in the trailer where they perform a rousing rendition of a gun kata complete with Yen and Reeves deflecting rounds with swinging swords. Dare I say…Action Cinema Perfection. I think I will. This is my website so I’ll say it.
Reeves has been quoted in the article saying that Chapter 4 ups the mayhem and that it will be “next level…it’s banana cakes.” If that’s not a ringing endorsement, then I don’t know what it quite frankly.
Reeves went on to say how this installment took everything to the next level saying, “John Wick: Chapter 4 has the most action of any of the [John Wick] films, which is saying a lot,” Reeves told Total Film in the latest issue of the magazine. “And it’s more by a good margin. It’s a big show.”
In addition, we also have more info on the latest villain played by Bill Skarsgård who is named Marquis de Gramont.
“The Marquis is a young man of unknown origin who has quickly climbed the ladder within the High Table doing god knows what. I always saw him as someone from the gutter that now savors the glittery suits he’s wearing. He functions as the new sheriff set out to rid the world of John Wick once and for all.”

From the trailer, we all know that Gramont and Wick will face each other mano-a-mano in a classic duel which sounds like it will be in stark contrast to the more notable ultra-kinetic Gun battles that we are used to.
“You have to earn the right to duel. Back in the day of medieval duels, you couldn’t duel outside of your class, that’s how they use power to manipulate. I thought that was a fascinating idea to mess with, a way to show a different class within our world,” stated Stahelski.
No worries though, the fourth entry will undoubtedly contain several hyper-violent action sequences choreographed by the famed 87Eleven stunt crew so get ready to buckle up and watch the blood 🩸 soaked carnage unfold when John Wick: Chapter 4 assaults theaters nationwide on March 24th!
