The big news may be that Liam Hemsworth is taking over for Henry Cavill in The Witcher but for now, he’s locked and loaded filming his latest military actioner Land Of Bad. Will Eubank, of Underwater and The Signal fame, is helming the project which is rolling cameras as we speak in Australia’s Gold Coast and South-East Queensland. Eubank also co-wrote the thriller along with David Frigerio.
The movie is being brought to the AFM via Highland Film Group and Hemsworth stars with his brother Luke Hemsworth and Russell Crowe. Liam stars as a rookie Air Force JTAC pilot who is thrust into working with a jaded drone pilot named Reaper (Crowe) when a black ops Delta Force mission goes terribly awry. The blown mission results in a desperate extraction that ultimately leads to all out war in the South Philippines. Take my money now.
Additional cast members include Milo Ventimiglia, Ricky Whittle, Daniel MacPherson and Chika Ikogwe. Highland has secured distribution in many key territories including Australia and New Zealand with Signature acquiring the hot film for release in the UK. Ireland, France and Scandinavia.
A first look image of the Hemsworth brothers has been issued to help promote the movie and both brothers are jocked up in the new pic which you can view now below!

Needless to say, if you know me and I think you do, this one has been on my radar after my initial report a while back when it was announced. Liam Hemsworth is really stepping up in the action roles and I thought he was solid in Expendables 2 so I’m confident he’ll pull off the military aspect just fine. Luke definitely looks spec ops ready from the above photo.
Keep it locked and loaded right here for more on Land of Bad as we are your destination for everything action in 2022 and beyond!
